Hull YFC
Hull YFC works in close partnership with two organisations - Church Mission Society and Bridges, Hull.

CMS is an organisation committed to evangelistic mission and working to see the world transformed by the love of Jesus. Born in 1799, in the crucible of the campaign to abolish slavery, CMS has always had justice and evangelism at its heart. It is currently working in over 50 countries, directly supporting more than 700 people and drawing thousands more into local mission wherever they are.

Chris and Anna Hembury are CMS Mission Partners. CMS also hold one of their 'Urban Encounter' opportunities with us. This is a short and intense opportunity for people wanting to experience Christian work with the marginalised in an urban setting.

Bridges, Hull was started by Tiff and Nik Strode as a project which engages with young people and families living in North Bransholme. Bridges is a Christian charity that aims to build relationships with young people and get to know them and their strengths and weaknesses. They try to support young people with a range of issues and to help them reach their full potential.

North Bransholme struggles with many of the same issues that we see on the Boulevard. Tiff worked for Hull YFC from 1993-1995 and then again from 2005-2009 as our worker on North Bransholme, and now she continues that work with Bridges.
